For June and in honor of Pride Month, Death Race 2000 (1975) will be the chosen film. This film was directed by the openly gay director Paul Bartel. Bartel’s career was affected by his sexuality, and he found himself more accepted at at home in the independent movie scene. So come on over to the Time Bomb on Saturday, June 18th, from 7:00 - 10:00 to celebrate the work of Paul Bartel and enjoy a little camp.

Sign-up for the nonprofit Safe Bars/ Defend Yourself online self-defense workshop. Topics to be covered include:

Prevention and awareness: things you can do to prevent or avoid an attack or abuse

Assertiveness and verbal self-defense: using words and body language to stop obnoxious or intrusive behavior and to keep a situation from escalating

Physical self-defense: techniques to end a physical attack and get to safety.

Identity Theft can put your finances and credit rating at risk- and that's just the beginning.

Hosted by Allied Financial Group co-founder, Beth McKinley (she, her, hers), you will learn how identity theft can occur, how you can take steps to prevent it, and what to do if your identity is stolen.

This lunch 'n learn is part of the Carlisle Pride Week events. A complimentary lunch will be provided for those who register, or feel free to bring your own.

A call went out to the local religious organizations and churches in Carlisle to offer Pride services welcoming, affirming, and accepting of the LGBTQ+ community. The following churches, temples, and congregations will open their doors to Pride Sunday.

Enjoy a community picnic and resource fair at Biddle Park. No need to bring anything but yourselves. Food and beverages will be provided. Connect with family, friends, neighbors, and community resources.

Get ready for a Gay Ol’ Walk from Borough Hall to Biddle Park. Wear your rainbow gear, grab your flags and pro-pride plans, and get ready to chant and cheer your way to our Pride Picnic and Resource Fair at Biddle Park.

Proclamation and Flag Raising Ceremony

Join us for the kick-off to Carlisle Pride. Mayor Sean Shultz will issue a proclamation, and we’ll raise the flag to signify the start of Carlisle Pride 2022.
